• Colour : Upperside puplish brown (female dark brown Underside white with orange brown markings.
• Habit : Commonly found in Buxa Tiger Reserve, Chilapata forest. Flutters weakly at the edge of the jungles, flies off fast when disturbed, basks on a top of tree with wings wide open. It favours sunny patches near forests at low and moderate elevations. The males frequent elephant dung.
• Larval Host Plants : Xylia xylocarpa, Saraca asoka, Cinnamomum sp., Ixora sp.
• Location : North Bengal
